Delcombe Manor is a Grade II *-listed historic manor in Milton Abbas, Dorset, England. ==History== The manor was built circa 1750 with flint stones used for Milton Abbey.〔(British Listed Buildings: Delcombe Manor, Milton Abbas )〕 It was originally two separate cottages which were joined together.〔Clive Aslet, (Village voice ), ''The Daily Telegraph'', 16 June 2007〕 It was designed in the Romantic Gothic architectural style.〔 In 1929, it was purchased by merchant banker Charles Jocelyn Hambro, who lived here with his wife Pamela Hambro and their children, including his son Charles.〔(Pamela Hambro and the lost world of Milton Abbey ), ''Dorset Life'', December 2009〕
